The editing was superb. It made it seem like all the action was happening in real time.
What I didn't like
Why was this play written? what was the point? Was it to make naturists look bad? Was it to have some cheap laughs?
My sympathies were firmly with the boyfriend. Skye was a very, very manipulative person who sprung a major secret on her boyfriend just before meeting her family for the first time. And when he was angry and resisted she broke of their engagement. What a nasty piece of work?
Her family were just a collection of comic clichés, each equally unpleasant and nothing like any of the naturists that I have met. This kind of lazy writing, playing for cheap laughs does nobody any favours and only serves to confirm the fears and prejudices of people everywhere. There was a better play to be written and the writer chickened out.
My overall impression
If I were not already a naturist this would have definitely put me right off.
