What I liked

The actress, Meredith, was very likable and entertaining. She took me from laughter to tears during the show. We cried with her, we rooted for her.

What I didn't like

The burlesque portion could be dropped. I didn’t feel it was needed.

My overall impression

My Womb was a very moving play. The actress, Meredith Barko, was very likable and entertaining. She took me from laughter to tears during the show. We cried with her; we rooted for her. The play spoke about the disconnect between the medical community and the patients that they are there to serve. It dealt with the womb and childbirth but the concept could be played out with any medical issue. The catch phase from the play “words matter” is so appropriate for doctor/patient relationships. A little empathy from the medical community, please.
