About the Project
Brimmer Street Theatre Company presents an original exploration, through spoken word and movement, of what it means to be an “Auntie” among black women. In conversation with our local community, we have prepared a love letter to our Aunties. The black women who helped raise us, who taught us the endless meanings of what black womanhood is.
