Marine biologist finds a mermaid trapped in the Great Pacific Garbage Patch. Think less “Disney” and more pissed off “Creature from the Black Lagoon”. It’s a fast paced, witty comedy that delves deep into the realities of environmental conservation… concerning a very grumpy mermaid.
When an idealistic marine biologist captures a mermaid, she realizes mermaids are much different than the fairy tales say. As more people find out the secret, circumstances become dire very quickly and all must decide where their loyalties lie.
Please note, the mermaid can be a little scary sometimes, so very very young children may want to stay home and enjoy Disney’s live action remake of The Little Mermaid. We hear it’s going to be stellar.
