About the Project
Having made his “Fringe festival” debut in Philiadelphia in 2000, producer, director, actor, musician, stand up comic, poet, spiritual activist, and writer, Robert Poorman, takes you on a journey into his “imaginative” world. Drawing on 30+ years experience as a Seeker/Performing artist, and his 13 spirit guides, “Poorman” creates his own country and runs for it’s presidency. A “One-man” show with many more characters on stage from the living and dead, from the past, present, and the future. A serious comedy.
Ritual/ceremony/performance about becoming fully who you are, by; following spirit guides, knowing and believing in your self, and being your purpose in life; despite self doubt, temptations, and the powers to be.
Isn’t it time we take the “Rich Texture” train, a one way ticket to paridise. Bypassing politics, sidesteping crashes, leaping from tall objects.
