Diana’s narrative had both emotional and intellectual appeal. Her candor, her innocence in revealing her expectations and disappointments brought tears to my eyes. But as much as she could not grasp her dream, she was able to express her feelings about those significant things in life—love of family and friends—-that so many people have not known. She had the intelligence to know and
appreciate the depth of such love.
What I didn't like
For the most part, I had no difficulty with Diana’s articulation. Just sometimes, I think, she put herself so much into her need to relate her feelings that a little was lost. But not enough yo lose the meaning.
My overall impression
My general impression: It was truly a work of art by one person, weaving her true experiences together with those she imagined. Well done!
