Box and Cox is a one act comedy that takes place in an apartment complex where two men (Box and Cox) pay rent to their landlady (Mrs. Bouncer) for the same apartment. One works during the day and one works during the night. “…so that I’m getting double rent for my room, and neither of my lodgers are any the wiser…” Mrs. Bouncer. Bouncer’s plan begins to go downhill when Cox comes home from work early.
Murilo Franco (Box) is a Brazilian actor living in Los Angeles for five years now. Working constantly in areas of film, theatre, and television, where he is currently dubbing soap operas to Portuguese speaking countries. This is Murilo’s 5th play in Los Angeles.
Shadow C. LaValley (Cox) is a native New York actor who studied theatre at the State University of New York at Oneonta. Recently released a feature film, “Drive”, that won awards where all proceeds when to the International Child Art Foundation.
