I really liked the variety of the scenes. I’ve seen Chris’ work before and knew to expect lots of laughs, but he also brings moments of sadness, melancholy, anger and joy into this. My favorite scene was a beautifully sad scene about a couple on a date. It was real and very relatable. He also dives head first into some tougher subjects that leave you wondering who the bad guy really is in the scene, or if there is even a bad guy at all. The show drives right into the gray areas of the world and does a bunch of doughnuts.
What I didn't like
These scenes were well executed so I will just assume that they have been given plenty of notes and don’t need any from me. If anything can be improved it’s me. I commit right now to making myself a better person.
My overall impression
An excellent and well written show that mixes humor, drama and real emotional connections between the characters to create five wonderfully different scenes that ranged from dark to ridiculous, all while behind the wheel of a car. Great acting and awesome sound design. Go see this show!
