What I liked

What wonderful performers! The live band and the percussion add so much. I loved the songs and the music. I like the combination of precise and abstracted movement and the glimpses of real thought and emotion. I like this in general but this style suits this piece very well. The artistic truth to this piece can help us understand, I hope, why so many women are so angry on June 25, 2022.

What I didn't like

I thoroughly enjoyed this show, however I did not understand that this was a day in the life of these people. I got that there was an event expected. Considering now, I think I would have enjoyed the piece more if I knew this was one day and there was something a little special about it. Except a ‘special’ day is so much like every other for these women. Not everything that we experienced happened on this one day though, right? Not the Tupperware party. Not the ‘I saw you.’ discussion? I guess I am saying that I, personally, would like a tiny bit more nailed down story. Just a teeny tiny bit.

My overall impression

Consistently interesting. Wonderful surprises.
