I love the simplicity of the staging contrasted with the detailed physical work of the cast: the flash is in the bodies, not in the tech, though it’s a very pretty and well-designed show. The cast is uniformly precise and highly committed to a very demanding style, and it pays off incredibly.
What I didn't like
I thought the sound balance was a little unsteady when switching from natural projection to singing into a solo mic.
My overall impression
Insightful, movement-based exploration of the traditional “woman’s place” in mid-century America… with songs!
