What I liked
I adored everything about this World Premiere production and plan to see it again! Do not MISS it, even if it’s the only Fringe show you see in person this year.
What I didn't like
I wish the lyrics were printed or available online so I could better appreciate John Wuchte’s biting look at the mores of 1952.
My overall impression
John Wuchte and his Kick Boom Theater ensemble take musical theater and dance to a new level, offering a combination of incredibly intricate and perfectly executed movement choreography performed by 7 brilliantly talented performers, all set to soul tingling music performed by four musicians. It’s such an inventive way to look at a day in the life of neighboring housewives in 1952, living a train ride away from NYC – and how that train ride affects their husbands on their way to and from work with so many temptations pulling their focus from their hard-working and dedicated wives back home.
