The cast are all on point, vocally and physically making what seems impossibly intricate effortless.
What I didn't like
I can see this being a full two act.
My overall impression
I loved this show! Great performances, great music, great staging. Wuchte brings physical movement to the Musical form in a way that highlights the characters’ internal feelings and creates a primal relationship with the audience. If you are familiar with his work you will love it, if you are new to it you will find it refreshing, moving, and visually exciting. This is a very tight show that the cast and musicians put in 100+ hours of rehearsal into and it packs so much into the 75 minute run time that it deserves multiple viewings. Teoli’s music runs the gambit from South Africa to Brooklyn, with a few songs reminiscent of Lou Reed with his hauntingly melodic guitar riffs. I recommend without reservations – but you should make your reservations to avoid missing this experience.
