The acting and humor was on point. Magic tricks were so fun every time they happened. I also thought the ending was very cute. The Macbeth joke was my favorite!
What I didn't like
I wanted to see a rehearsal scene with the man who played Romeo to show how he was a natural at being an actor in that role. That would put the rest of it in context. I would have also liked to see more romantic chemistry between him and Colette.
The show ran quite long (over 2 hours), so I think the script can be edited down a bit for festivals like Fringe where pieces are typically 1-1.5 hours.
My overall impression
Shakespeare in Vegas is such a fun story! I loved the quirky characters and how the actors played off of each others’ energy. The character development in the main character was also great to see, and the plot twists make the story fun to watch until the end.
