What I liked

This was an ensemble cast of actor’s actors, and I loved watching them work. In the audience we felt effortlessly brought into their world, and it could not have been more electric. At the center of the play is the dream of a man who’d like to do right by his grandmother and her legacy. Tony is an absolute presence and force, and is equal parts hilarious and genuinely moving. I could not help but continuously root for him and delight in every scene between him and Margo as their relationship unfolded in surprising and delightful new ways. There was not a weak actor in this bunch, every actor’s performance will stay with me for a long time (and continue to make me laugh). Every single one of you, bravo and congratulations. Cannot recommend this more, everyone go see it!

My overall impression

I absolutely loved Shakespeare in Vegas. Hilarious, poignant, inspiring, totally bonkers. This show surprised me and took me to places I never expected, and I loved every minute of it. An incredibly strong ensemble cast and a triumphant and joyous adventure. One of the wildest and most exciting rides I’ve had in theater, and I know I’ll be talking about it to anyone who will listen.
