About the Project
Come see Shakespeare’s “Much Ado About Nothing” – this pared down, modern production of the takes place in and around the bar, rubbing shoulders with the audience. A “site-specific” piece of theatre, the performances are shaped and influenced by the space, with little separation from the “stage” and audience. When a group of soldiers is welcomed to take a respite from local wars at the estate of an esteemed Lord and his beautiful daughter and niece, all find themselves tangled up in romance, trickery, deception, and the resulting fallout. Come hang at the bar and enjoy a drink before and after (and during!) A incredibly fun, highly entertaining, and immensely refreshing way to experience Shakespeare.
