I missed 4 Clowns last year at the fringe and have been excitedly waiting for this year so that I could see them. They did not disappoint. Beautiful Laugh is filled with a delightful element of childhood emotions. Simple, yet complex, it was enchanting to watch the story unfold over the course of the hour. You can't help but laugh, cry and laugh again throughout the performance. ... full review

Great concept, brilliantly executed. That Beautiful Laugh was so much fun to watch, and I laughed so much I got teary eyed. All the clowns were so endearing, and I actually went through every emotion with them. This show had just the right amount of audience participation. I highly recommend this show as it is not one you would want to miss. And thank you Four Clowns for making my one "Moms" night out totally worth it!!! ... full review

Magic on stage. Every social construct that has plagued my adult life was whimsically whisked away by the beauty of the world of clown. Every single actor was much more than an actor on a stage. Each clown was a bottle of talent mixed with a special gift. The directing was phenomenal as well. Just on the directing choices alone, I felt I could be a kid again. Stretchy super punch arm, COME ON! ... full review

This show was excellent! This was my first show at the Fringe Festival and what a wonderful introduction it was. I enjoyed every aspect if this show. The clowns, the set, the direction, the story, all beautifully came together to make a delightful show. It grabs every emotion we experience as humans and gives each one a beautiful significance. It's a must see!... full review

I sat in a room almost completely full of complete strangers and loudly relished - with absolutely no self-censorship - the unbridled joy of childhood for an hour. I only wish I had a time machine to go back and catch my 7-year-old self's opinion of the performance, for as I discovered through regressing to him tonight: he had some pretty rad ideas about things. The company accomplished - with aplomb - the laughably simple yet monumentally difficult task of remaining present in every precious moment, and for that, earned every beautiful laugh they elicited. I only wish I could take the show home in a jar myself.... full review

I really enjoyed the show and the energy of the actors as well as the audience however, I was a bit disappointed that the show seemed to have lost the clowning type of feel that I so loved about the first Four Clowns. There was a lot of jumping around and "clowning" around but there wasn't much clowning physicality and miming, which I loved and which I was looking forward to. I also missed Raymond Lee's miming and humor, Alexis Jones talent and pianist Mario Granville's keys. But despite my personal disappointment, the show stirred the audience and people were having a great time. Even my son at 6 months was drawn to every bit on stage and seemed to have a great time (until hunger took over and we had to go outside to nurse). Kudos to Di... full review
