Still Awake was incredible with a heartfelt message. I enjoyed how every character’s story intertwined together and how much chemistry the actors had. The show was interactive and really helped to immersive you into the world. ... full review

“Still Awake” took me back to 9/11 and the days following. To having thoughts about purpose and “what’s the point?” moments. But unlike then, it reminds us that there can be, and often is, purpose in the things we do, even when we can’t see it ourselves. ... full review

Jonathan Langley has beautifully written and expertly directed a frighteningly truthful portrayal of the late night television scene, during what surely must have been one of it’s toughest moments, in the wake of the 9/11 attacks. A fantastic ensemble cast led by the immediately likeable, constantly entertaining and always fraught Tony Aycuff, played expertly by Theo Newton, took us on a journey through wonderfully inventive use of The Actors Company’s Other Space, with the audience flanking the central playing space on either side. Slick scene changes and constantly mobile action made for a fast paced story that had zip, wit and elegance at times. Hats off to the whole production team for the incredible amount of work it must have t... full review

A fantastic show wonderfully written, directed and performed! I felt like I was watching more of good television show rather than a play. Bravo!... full review

I thought it was great. I enjoyed the use of the stage and how seamless the transitions felt. Even though this story takes place at a specific historical time, the broader themes of finding meaning or facing tragedy are universally relatable.... full review

Still Awake is a fantastic play from start to finish. From its impressive use of the stage to some stand out performances from the fantastic Landon Moss and Elizabeth Pye, overall this play is a must see. It’s an emotionally gripping piece with enough levity to help guide you through some of its traumatic themes. I couldn’t recommend this show enough!! ... full review

I really enjoyed the show and the array of actors and talents. I was in elementary school when 9/11 occurred and don’t remember (nor could I fully comprehend) the depth and range of emotions people felt. Still Awake did an EXCELLENT job capturing and displaying those emotions. There were moments of joy and triumph as well as grief and despair (and everything in between). The actors had great chemistry too. Loved it from start to finish!!... full review

An amazing all around production. Such strong actors led by a charismatic Tony Acruff (Theo Newton) at the helm. So many different areas were touched on, from the immediate aftermath of a traumatic event, to finding our own individual definitions of courage. A beautiful crafted story that will not only spark a conversation about your whereabouts the day of 9/11, but also remember the spirit of America and how we collectively came together. ... full review
