Still Awake

What I liked

The naturalism of the tone and performance. The layering of topics and conflict. The acting was so genuine and simple, yet intense and intriguing. I love the placing of the audience facing each other. It made me feel as though I was both audience and a part of the story. And (strangely) nothing excites me more than well thought out and executed scene changes.

What I didn't like

My only addition would have been more sound design, specifically during the scene changes to fill the space. The silence was a little unnerving.

My overall impression

A fantastic show wonderfully written, directed and performed! I felt like I was watching more of good television show rather than a play. Bravo!
