What I liked
Yousef. And the Wife. Both were very believable.
I liked the reminder that purpose can be found in places and in ways we don’t often see.
And that there is purpose in the silly and comedic as well.
What I didn't like
Lighting cues and transitions. (But the third performance was already smoother than the first)
My overall impression
“Still Awake” took me back to 9/11 and the days following. To having thoughts about purpose and “what’s the point?” moments. But unlike then, it reminds us that there can be, and often is, purpose in the things we do, even when we can’t see it ourselves.
