What I liked

Most of them I mentioned above. I think Chalet, Sirena, Chale & La Huerca presented the best overall acting preparation for their roles in my opinion. I liked the musical part of it and the fact of using actors talents. Chale had very positive vibe and his drumming was building the atmosphere. Antonella with great confidence and good singing. Phantom Angel great physicality and preparation, also for me the most mysterious character. Go Go Bar patron xD , very good fit for the role, big potential. Similar with Faustino. At first I saw the wizard and the unloved husband. Congratulations guys!

What I didn't like

I think a bit more rehearsals and attention to the details in general. Now once you got the roles I’d probably try to look at each other’s work to spot tiny moments without the scenic truth. A bit more confidence for some of actors. Also I got a feeling that some things are being over explained. I already saw what was happening but the character with their moves was trying to underline it. Try to keep it simple, natural and true. Feel the loss of wife, the dilemmas some of characters have. I know it’s small stage but I’d probably try to clean the movement and scenery changes. Few times I didn’t believe the character. “Fuck” is always funny, but the question is what do we want to achieve, just some laughter or leaving the viewer with a thought? Because the topics of machismo, pursuit of fame and dying alive are quite serious in my opinion. Oh and I got. The feeling few times that I see more truth in Spanish then English parts.

My overall impression

I enjoyed the Night at the Chicano rock opera. I liked the music, contact with the audience, passion for performing, and the costumes of characters. Tangled story about common and important problem.
