I appreciated the honesty and self-reflection. It’s tough to talk about things like your health history or your relationships that didn’t work out, and even moreso to do the big work of untangling those life events and your role in them. Especially to do it in an artful, public forum on top of all that.

This is a piece that helps unveil what can happen when something traumatic interrupts and changes your identity, your plans for life and your creative spirit; and how a person can bounce back with new vistas and paths back to self-fulfillment.
