Vivía’s confidence in sharing the hard parts and the happy parts of her journey make her storytelling truly engaging. The production design was just enough to keep Vivia’s performance intimate while also being flawlessly in sync with every scene and change of emotional tone.
What I didn't like
The show starts with images of Vivía at a certain weight and comments celebrating her healthier shape, but I don’t remember seeing images of her weight before that time to fully appreciate the reactions that were provoked by the photos we were seeing. I could see some photos of the weight she had before being added at the beginning to help the audience develop perspective from the very beginning
My overall impression
This was a really beautiful, disarming, funny, heartbreaking and hopeful introspection and a privilege to witness.
