Bayanihan? Kababayan? Am I Pronouncing that Right? is
an artistic performance exploring the Filipino-American Identity in the 21 century. For 60 minutes you’ll be following TJ Simba-Medel as he spits his story of being a Filipino poet that was born in Queens, raised in Jersey, graduated from Arkansas, and pursued his dream to be a comedian of color in Chicago. In addition to making him and the Filipino people feel seen, he will be donating half of his ticket sales to the TAAL Relief Campaign. For more info:
