When it comes to being really choosy… In all honesty, I believe that the work could benefit from a more powerful title. Oh, yes, I am aware of— Try not to despise me.
What I didn't like
This was an extremely dramatic and captivating drama that was executed exceptionally well in terms of its direction, acting, and writing! The members of this ensemble moved together like a well-oiled machine. Although I was a member of the audience and did not know much about the playwright Jeff Dinnell, I felt a deep sense of inspiration to share the journey that he brought me on. The cast’s exploration of how the connections of friendship are put to the test when one of your own passed away was a gripping experience to see. basketball stars
My overall impression
The truly outstanding directing of this work made it absolutely enthralling! It is true that Marisa O’Brien had a fantastic cast of performers to assist her in telling this narrative; yet, this piece required genuine leadership and vision in order to convey all of the intricacies that it contains. Even though I’m in the process of handing out candy, I must say that these actors really were outstanding! Each is deserving of genuine acclaim and had their own unique opportunities to shine, and they most certainly did have those opportunities. THANK YOU SO MUCH, MUCH, MUCH!!
