What I liked

I liked that even though the stories were difficult to hear, there was always an underlying tone of hope and strength. The actors did an amazing job of really portraying their characters in a positive light.

What I didn't like

Considering the constraints of the current pandemic, the production could have been very difficult for the audience to follow, but the camera work was very good. If part of the action was off camera or out of focus, the cameraperson was quick to catch it and rectify the situation.

My overall impression

My overall impression of the play was that coming to America is not easy. Many people have struggled and fought for all of the things that we, as Americans, take for granted. This was a beautifully told story of some of those hardships. I was brought to tears listening to some of the stories of struggle and loss and I was also uplifted by the stories of faith and love.
