JOE’S PARADISE is a heartfelt and hilarious peek into the exotic world of pole dancers from their point of view. It challenges the traditional stereotypes of strippers, revealing the true character behind the sexy image. As the dancers fight for their livelihoods and face their own personal crises, they not only take back their power from the men in their lives but take over the bikini bar as well. JOE’S PARADISE is about diversity and cooperation. Black and white, gay and straight, women and men, they all unite to save “Joe’s Paradise”, becoming a family in the process.
As the dancers rise up to meet life’s challenges, they evolve emotionally and spiritually, becoming self-empowered women along the way.
