What I liked
I loved how elegantly Mandy narrates her show. Connected, grounded, authentic. While watching the show it feels like you are sitting with a friend.
What I didn't like
There were few moments where Mandy seemed to lose her words it doesn’t distract because she takes her time and keeps the show going in these moments, so trusting she knows the words will help. But this also makes me want to come back and see it again!
My overall impression
Mandy’s play is very touching!
Her bravery and deep connection to her authenticity and vulnerability is something to be celebrated. It is also very relatable, after speaking with audience after the show everyone was talking about how deeply they can relate. And that is what theatre is meant to do!
I loved this show.
