Ruined woman or determined opportunist? Horrible mother or terrorized matyr? After losing her husband, her lover, and her children, the fallen queen of Hollywood, Clytemnestra, rewrites her story. In a solo show about a notorious villain reclaiming her identity, this ground-breaking world premiere by Tamara Koltes adapts aspects of The Oresteia to take on a new form that reimagines one of Greek mythology’s most hated women as a Strong Female Lead.
Tamara Koltes is a veteran Fringe performer, whose work has been seen at the Minnesota, Kansas City, and Edinburgh Fringe Festivals. She is so excited to be bringing this original piece to the Hollywood Fringe in 2020.
