About the Project
It sounds silly, it’s been largely forgotten, and it killed 21 people—it’s the Great Molasses Flood of 1919.
This play, based on the all too real and very American tragedy, walks us through the executive choices and economic circumstances that led to the destruction of Boston’s North End via a tsunami of molasses.
