What I liked
There were moments when Michael’s emotional honesty was palpable and very moving, and I could sense his gratitude throughout. I loved his keyboard solos! That ear candy sweetened the show from start to finish.
What I didn't like
In light of Michael’s obvious musical talent, I wouldn’t have minded more tickling of the ivories!
My overall impression
Highly entertaining! Michael’s journey starts out as a charmed life but then turns a dark corner, and he ultimately resurrects himself. Michael has an unpretentious, down-to-earth storytelling style that makes him so personable and easy to root for. I loved how the stories were threaded together with some really cool and original piano compositions. What a talent!
