What I liked
I particularly liked the construct of the other patients in the waiting room. It gave the show a great framework for the story, but it also just made you feel part of the space instantly.
What I didn't like
I really have so little to critique, but in the spirit of always finding something to improve on, the ghost story scene could maybe have been done centre stage facing the audience, I think with the low lighting I missed a bit with it being all done side on.
My overall impression
I’ve seen dozens of one person shows at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, abs this was my first show of the LA fringe. It couldn’t have been a better debut. The show was moving, powerful and funny, I’d recommend it to anyone, you literally cannot watch this without finding a part of yourself in it and connecting to the raw humanity that you’re witnessing. Paige is clearly a masterful performer who knows exactly the right amount of everything to create something you won’t forget.
