What I liked
I deeply appreciated how uncensored TL is in her show. She does not shy away from the truth and she moves, speaks and sings with abandon.
What I didn't like
Really nothing. If I’m going to be super specific, I appreciated (and needed) some of the slower pacing that occurred later into the show. The emotional charge stays pretty high the whole time and I liked having a few moments here and there to catch my breath. It kind of started at a 10 which I LOVE, and I also know as an audience member, it’s not always easy to sustain the attention span and emotional intensity.
My overall impression
The emotional honesty of “Book” and the range of expression TL shares so generously is simply transformational. She weaves the poetry of her deepest wound and her healing into a great piece of art.
