What I liked

100% sincere and hilarious and fantastically written raps throughout and fun dance vignettes

Some of my favorite lines:

when the teacher says the girls are acting like escorts/that they don’t want to be and then they’re like yeah, we don’t want Escort cars =)))!!!

the line about speaking “properly” when she’s spoken to properly!

white noise from a black man (her father)

the ass-tronaut girl friend – segues into where is her father/oh he’s in outer space

are you an amusement park? Because I see Six Flags and they’re all red.

the girlfriend is calling her father daddy and he’s calling the girlfriend baby

when she “spraypaints” her name – wonderful effect

So well-directed and executed – all aspects – from the acting and projections and lights and sound and everything!!!

What I didn't like

?

My overall impression

All about coming to love of one’s self despite many obstacles and wondrous love letter to hip hop.

I love how she tells her story.
