What I liked
Love your voice! Very much a Broadway quality. You’re absolutely charming and lovable and the songs are amazing! I could hear the orchestrations in my head, imagining the full sound of an orchestra. You’re a truly gifted song writer!
What I didn't like
You might consider moving the set pieces upstage a bit? It’ll be easier for audience to see more of wonderful you and the great physicality you embody. I felt you were a bit too close. Moving things up will give you more freedom and allow us to see all of you.
My overall impression
A perfectly charming piece. Steve has a wonderful Broadway voice, the songs are clever (often with hints of Sondheim, Maltby and Shire.) Great fun meeting all of his characters, so well thought out and executed.
A beautiful story of not belonging and finally learning to love and accept ourselves for exactly for who we are. So glad we got to see Steve in action in this tender work.
