On the shores of the Salton Sea, a disenchanted killer (‘Last Action Hero’s’ Austin O’Brien) gets friendly with the locals while clashing with his superior (’Deadwood’s’ Anthony DiMaria). Along the way, he crosses paths with two young women (Melissa Stephens and Ethel Mayville) on a weekend escape from the city.
