What I liked
Her delivery of her monologue was simply perfect – poetic, emotional, well-prepared, dramatic – and it culminated with her taking flight right in front of the audience. Also, her post-show messages were a delightful piece of audience interactivity which really brightened my evening.
What I didn't like
Projections came from a laptop, and when the projectionist missed her cues, as happened repeatedly, it reverted to showing her email and desktop for all to see. Slideshow should be displayed on a clean background in case problems arise – the show is too great for work email to poke its head through. But a minor cavil to a beautiful performance.
My overall impression
Such a moving and beautiful performance. Magical.
