An excellent choice to pair these two stories – well-crafted from all angles and thought-provoking.
What I didn't like
It could be argued that the pieces could/should be swapped to achieve more pathos in the second half of the show, but there are staging issues to consider there, so really, nothing. Solid work all around.
My overall impression
Two high-quality scripts elevated by incredible performances and delicate direction. Adam Meredith and Blain Vedros are both captivating as a veteran suffering from PTSD and trying to get his life on track, and as a man wrestling with his past actions and struggling to forgive himself.
