Acting, writing, simplicity. Actors should see this show just to catch what is possible with a long monologue.
What I didn't like
The outside noise of the venue needs to be fixed. Hearing people yelling and talking in the hallway is bad for both the performers and the audience.
My overall impression
This is acting at its purest form. I went in not knowing much about what this show was about and ended up being blown away by the performances of the two actors, Adam Meredith and Blaine Vedros. This is a very simple show by design and it lets the actors literally live with audience for 30 minutes at a time. It’s two, one act plays where each actor gets the stage to themself and they both deliver. My favorite thing about the Fringe Festival is seeing shows big and small and being surprised and excited by both. Director Matthew Martin was smart to not add too much to this and take away from the performance of the actors and the strong writing.
