I thought the structure and pace were very well thought out. There’s a real sense of through line, but with an open-ended silly improvisational vibe. The characterizations of the first family were hysterical.
What I didn't like
Problems with the sound were frustrating…mics going out, speakers not good. There were other issues with the venue, like the AC going out – so it was a tech mess all around. The stage was also a little crowded by the placement of the piano – it should have been farther back and facing out.
My overall impression
Very smart and funny – a LOT of talent sharing the stage and not one less than stellar.
