Voice From The Village: A Play About Playwright Lynn Manning

What I liked

I was memorized by Gary Robinson’s portrayal of Lynn. Mr. Robinsons attention to detail was extraordinary. He treated Lynn with absolute respect.

What I didn't like

I didn’t care for the dancing because I didn’t know what it had to do with this play. I would have preferred more of Lynn’s powerful poems.

My overall impression

The writer Melvin Ishmael Johnson brought to life the subjects Lynn talked about during his 2013 interview. He stayed true to Lynn’s story and spirit. I felt enlightened watching this play.
