What I liked
The songs were great. There is a lyric in one song that I have been repeating to myself all day and giggling. It’s during a hero song about working a minimum wage job, and it goes like this: “and that’s the war… I, at minimum… wage!!!!” I mean c’mon. It doesn’t get better than that. Fun performances all around.

My overall impression
Charming, funny, and delightful musical set in a Jamba Juice. WHAT ELSE DO YOU NEED TO KNOW? I have never seen Avenue Q, but I know the cast recording really well, and this has Avenue Q vibes to me. It has a self-aware cynicism over top a soft fuzzy heart.
