My overall impression

Jeff Scott Carey knows how to write comedic roles straight down the middle of the strike zones of his accomplished cast. And they deliver with home runs from the top to the bottom of the lineup. Lucas Alifano (looking great in earth tones) does wonderful work as a nice-guy supreme being condemned to live among his creations in an Alabama trailer park. Emily Clark whips up a southern girl, tired of working a drive-thru and her troglodyte ex, who’s frustration has inspired her to get active for political change. A play with laugh-out-loud twists and turns just when they are needed, COME ON DOWN is one of the most highly enjoyable productions of this year’s Fringe. Isaac Deakyne, Victor Isaac, Cj Merriman, Eric Curtis Johnson, Meghan Allison, Pam Quinn, Everjohn Feliciano and Carey himself round out a cast that rock this piece like a Van Haggar song.
