What I liked

Leon Russom and Bruno Oliver give stunning performances as the Mad King and The Salesman, giving the audience something to guide them through the madness of Limbo. The whole ensemble gives great life to the piece, a well written an honest portrayal of two men who reached the end of their lives without reaching their full potential.

What I didn't like

I felt as if Lear and Loman got comfortable far too quickly, and that took out some of the tension from them being in the afterlife together. There could have been a build up as they sensed out each other, trying to figure out the other’s games.

My overall impression

An engaging and celebratory play about what it means to have lived, loved, and be loved. Two of literature’s biggest figures meet face to face, and have to figure out each others’ pasts and faults in order to move on to forgiveness.
