The three central performances were each strong in their own way. Dorina Amina and Reina Guthrie deserve special shout outs; both had big character arcs to cover and pulled them off exceptionally well. I also liked the use of video throughout (from the characters’ social media accounts), which really brought out the themes and texture of how social media enhances/ruins our lives in equal measure.
What I didn't like
I don’t believe is in this section, but where can I get that song, yo?!
My overall impression
Funny, sharp Los Angeles morality tale with great performances throughout. Writer Frankie MacLaughlin packs a lot into to the tight 55 minute run time, including a fully produced hilarious/amazing pop song!
