A smart and energetic take on Alan Ball's polemic about the dynamics of relationships, gender roles, and the battle of the sexes. It's a fast paced and breezy production that reminds its audience why live theater is still a vital showcase where thought provoking ideas (illuminated by fantastic acting and solid direction) can flourish.... full review

A slick production with solid actors in a play by Academy Award-winning screenwriter, Allan Ball, "Power Lunch" pits man against woman in a fictional relationship where a couple struggle for the upper hand. Mix in a transgender waiter and what you get is 45 minutes of sexual politics and thought-provoking points of view even though the banter is at times too clever for its own good. ... full review

So funny. 45 minutes just blew by with hilarity all around. Allan Ball is an amazing writer, but these actors brought the show to life. They sucked us into the story, had us laughing along with them and more than once there was a collective gasp from the crowd. So much fun. ... full review
