What I liked
I loved the transitions and all the projections with the cast as comics. I thought that really added to the piece and was very clever. And I mean, that damn pink costume. It was the perfect amount of ridiculous and distracting. The casting was also perfect!
What I didn't like
I would have liked to see more of a connection/relationship between Otto and Reggie giving more of a “aww” and loving moment when Otto let’s Reggie take the praise. Super loved that he did that but I wanted to see how much he cared for her throughout <3
My overall impression
Wowee! Daly has once again combined a popular genre and topic and made a thoughtful statement about what is going on in our world, complete with laugh out loud moments. Whether you’re a fan of comics or not at all, you will thoroughly enjoy this show! Complete with outrageous characters, engaging writing and a whole lot of pink surprise, you will leave the theatre happier than when you arrived ;)
