What I liked

The imaginative playfulness of a bunch of grown-up kids on-stage. The cast obviously meshes really well and there’s no doubt of that. I always love seeing actors have fun on-stage. It makes me have fun in response to that, and there was no doubt in my mind that they weren’t having fun. If I had kids or was babysitting some kids I’d take them to this show for sure. Actually, I’d bring my parents too. Because…aren’t we all just a bunch of grown-up kids?

What I didn't like

I can’t remember if the headphones were introduced at the beginning of the show or not but I would’ve loved to have seen a foreshadowing of them coming later on in the show. When the guy walked in wearing them I didn’t know what they were until they were explained and personally I think hinting at them at the beginning of the show (perhaps on one of the news segments) would help audience members recognize what they were as soon as they were introduced into the scene. Unless everyone else got it but me. In which case…I’ll be over here hiding in this corner…

My overall impression

This show is a grand ol’ good time. It was fun from start to finish and I left the theatre feeling pleased I had seen it. It’s not meant to be super *****deep***** and I appreciated that. Also, that actor Jessica (I think that’s her name) is so charming and likable on-stage and I love her character work. Should I steal it for my own show? Mwuahahah we shall never know >:)
