The acting was very solid – the cast was in touch with each other and both Jessica Carlson and Jack de Sanz switched characters seamlessly. John Patrick Daly and Malinda Money have lovely balance. The show knows what it is and has fun with it!
What I didn't like
The ending seemed to be drawn out, albeit that is the funny nature of superhero movies, and the pacing had trouble at times.
My overall impression
Daly’s vision of a superhero movie via the stage is well recognized, with ridiculous super villains, a lot of spandex, and a down to earth girlfriend saving the day. A unique look at the expectations on superheros, this show is a lot of fun, while managing to have real moments as well.
