What I liked

clever dialog, transformer set piece, and endearing themes and personalities.

What I didn't like

By the end of the play we realize that the female lead was the super hero even though the guy is the one trying to galavant as a spandexed vigilante. This was intentional and I think one of my favorite aspects of the script. If it could be more fleshed out from the outset and structured into the entire framework of the script, I think the payoff at the end would feel even more earned.

My overall impression

A theatrical one act parody of a tropey super hero movie where no one has super powers. It has some really good moments with good character acting and clever bits of dialog. I found it enjoyable and an easy watch and I thought the overall quirky tone the writer established seemed to translate well with the casts performance of it. Reminded me a bit of the movie Kick-ass. Good show, go see it!
