What I liked

The acting was wonderful – goofy and over the top in a delightful, comic book way. The scene transitions were very clever, further giving the audience that comic book movie feeling.

What I didn't like

I saw the show on preview night, so there were a couple times the A/V components weren’t synced up, and the choreography of the big battle at the end was a little rough, but I’m sure those things will be improved as the show continues its run.

My overall impression

“How I Became A Superhero” was a fun take on the role of online activism in our society and what it takes to be a real life superhero. It was funny, poignant, and extremely well acted. The whole team should be proud of their work on this one!
